The Ontario Corporations Act gives the Board the authority to make and implement bylaw changes providing these changes are confirmed by a vote of the Professional and Honorary members at the next Annual General Meeting. Bylaw No. 2 of the OSPE requires that bylaw changes be approved by two-thirds of those eligible members casting a vote at this meeting.
Copies of material for the Annual General Meeting, including the audited financial statements, will be available for review on the OSPE website at www.ospe.on.ca. Copies may also be obtained by calling the OSPE office at 416-223-9961 or 1 866 763-1654 extension 235.
Voting by proxy shall be permitted when written notification is given to the Chief Executive Officer, or designate, by 4:00 p.m. on May 2, 2011 – two (2) business days prior to the meeting. Proxy voting information can be found at www.ospe.on.ca.
* Please Note: Only Professional and Honorary Members are eligible to vote on OSPE's Bylaw motions. Intern, Associate and Student members are not eligible to vote on these motions.
